Imperial & Prairie

As the dust settled on a warm June evening in Inglewood, California, inspired by his surroundings, Tony picked up pen and paper, and wrote down some words to what might be a song. He showed the words to his son, Aki, who picked up his guitar and started to strum a few simple chords. With not much else to do amid the pandemic, they began composing their own songs, and what started out as jam sessions turned into ideas of recording and playing live. Through all of this Imperial & Prairie was born out of a trailer park, and aims to take the stages of the west by storm.
